Farnsworth provided commissioning services for Memorial Health Systems on a new 220,000 SF medical facility with patient care provisions. The facility contained standard hospital services, with operating rooms, new infant critical care spaces, emergency departments, clean room pharmaceutical manufacture, and multiple lab spaces. The construction cost was $62 million. The project was completed in early 2007.
Farnsworth Group joined the team four months prior to the hospital's opening. The commissioning process at Memorial Hospital North was able to identify and correct many issues that potentially could have pushed back the timeline. The commissioning process discovered that many pieces of equipment were not installed per recommendations.
