This 140,000 SF, steel and precast concrete building houses the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services within the Department of Homeland Security. The project represents Farnsworth Group’s ability to provide full-service capabilities on a project, including architecture, structural, civil, mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineering as well as energy modeling, commissioning and LEED® certification on the project. The USGBC has recognized this facility as a LEED® Silver facility. This project was designed and constructed on a fast track basis. FGI partnered with Kiewit Construction of Omaha, NE, to design and build the facility with Scannell Properties.
