This new 150,000 SF facility includes offices, auditorium, conference facilities, information center, television studios, museum, library, photo studio and support spaces. Farnsworth provided guidance to the architect and engineer through the design process. Our role included documenting the project intent and basis of design as the design progressed, as well as developed the commissioning specification section.
Additionally, Farnsworth verified the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing and fire protection systems installation and functional performance with tremendous emphasis on the DDC controls for critical backup chilled water system which tied into an $8 million data center.
