Farnsworth Group Now Nearly 70 LEED APs

BLOOMINGTON, ILLINOIS...July 1, 2009... Farnsworth Group, Inc. now has nearly 70 Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Accredited Professionals located companywide.
These Farnsworth Group employees are experienced building industry practitioners who earned LEED accreditation by demonstrating a thorough understanding of green building practices and principles and knowledge of the LEED Rating System. LEED Professional Accreditation distinguishes building professionals with the knowledge and skills to successfully steward the LEED certification process. Many of Farnsworth Group's LEED AP's are registered professionals engineers and architects, and encompass the disciplines of architecture, mechanical, civil and water/wastewater engineering.
LEED is a voluntary, consensus-based national standard for developing high-performance, sustainable buildings emphasizing sustainable site development, water savings, energy efficiency, materials selection and indoor environmental quality.
